Saturday June 2nd marks the 20th annual American Hiking Society (AHS) and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) National Trails Day, a holiday celebrated by outdoor enthusiasts from all 50 states alike.
More than 2,000 National Trails Days events will be taking place across the country thanks to the AHS and the BSA joining forces. Events will include but will not be limited to trail maintenance projects, hikes, bike and horseback rides and trail dedications.
The Boy Scouts of America will be offering a collectible patch for all scouts participating in the event to commemorate the 20-year mark for National Trails Day.
