The Full Throttle Endurance Racing (FTE) once again dominated the USA Triathlon Team Championships by winning for the fourth consecutive year. This 4-peat feat was secured this past weekend at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and the team totaled 421 points to the second place team's 289 points.
The swim was canceled due to poor water quality, but Team FTE rolled onto victory with 28 athletes on the racing podium.
The Suunto-sponsored Full Throttle Endurance Racing team is a high-intensity team out of Chelsea Piers in New York City under coach Scott Berlinger. The program is designed to train athletes for multi-sport events and participants range from nationally ranked triathletes and dual-athletes to those preparing for a first race. Full Throttle, "offers a community of like-minded individuals the opportunity to incorporate high-level training and racing into a balanced lifestyle."
