Training for Red Bull X-Alps on Movescount
So, this isn't about athletes in the USA, but we have to give a HUGE shout out to the amazing global athletes participating in the Red Bull X-Alps 2011 Salzburg to Monaco race.
Ten Red Bull X-Alps athletes are tracking their training with Suunto t6c heart rate monitors. Every session is logged on Suunto's online sports community www.movescount.com up until the race start on July 17, 2011.
Follow Christian Amon (AUT2), Mike Küng (AUT3) Richard Pethigal (BRA), Jon Chambers (GBR2), Andy Frötscher (ITA), Ivar Sandsta (NOR), Nuno Virgillo (POR), Max Fanderl (CAN), Toma Coconea (ROM) and Evgenii Griaznov (RUS) as they prepare for the toughest challenge of their lives.
It looks like Max Fanderi of Canada has already logged about 50 hours this month. It's pretty cool to see.
