Stoltz Wins 7th XTERRA Series Championship
Stoltz finished second at the USA Championship race in Utah, but it was enough points to give him the Series championship.
Stoltz led after the bike, but was chased down by Nicolas Lebrun during the run.
The showing was quite an effort for Stoltz who suffered a severe cut on his foot that required surgery earlier this year. He was worried he wouldn't be able to prepare well enough to pull off a victory.
Congratulations to Conrad on another Championship.

XTERRA USA Pro Series in Utah
I really dislike this course- it's lots of climbing and a little bit of down hilling. 2,800ft of down hilling is lost with this point to point race up the site of the 2006 Winter Olympic Super G course. That said, Ogden is a great town, the people are really welcoming and the scenery is amazing.

Epic Ride for a Good Cause
The days have been HARD and hot. We’re nearly half way to Vegas and the troops are a bit battered, but the camaraderie is building every day. The group is really fit and riding well, but we are essentially doing a century or more every day for 6 days!
For her whole blog go here.
Good luck Rebecca.

Andy Potts Update
After returning home to Colorado Springs, Andy was treated by local physicians for the injuries he received from the crash. After the evaluations, doctors confirmed there were no internal injuries or broken bones and he was cleared to resume limited training. He began bike riding last Friday and resumed run training yesterday. Doctors will clear him to resume training in the water when his wounds heal completely. Currently, Andy is receiving treatment and therapy at the United States Olympic Training Center in an attempt to regain fitness and prepare for the Ironman World Championships.
We are confident Andy will make a full recovery in time for Kona, but it is unclear how the crash will affect his performance in the race. Andy wants to express his gratitude to all of his fans, sponsors and supporters for the overwhelming support he received over the past week.

The Fastest Flying American
Neil finished 4th in the world and was the top US racer.
Base Racing is an extreme sport to say the least. Two racers go head-to-head as they leap off the edge of a mountain cliff. Each participant wears a wingsuit and a parachute. At the signal, they leap and race to the finish line before deploying the chutes and gliding to a safe landing.
This year, 35 athletes from 12 different countries competed.
