XTERRA USA Pro Series in Utah

Suunto Sponsored athlete Conrad Stoltz goes for his 7th XTERRA USA Series title on Saturday in Utah.

The race is the final of the 8-stop Cup Series for professionals that started in May. The best of the best will vie for the title. Stoltz is the favorite coming in, but it should be a grueling test.

Conrad's take on the course:

I really dislike this course- it's lots of climbing and a little bit of down hilling. 2,800ft of down hilling is lost with this point to point race up the site of the 2006 Winter Olympic Super G course. That said, Ogden is a great town, the people are really welcoming and the scenery is amazing.

Whoever has the fastest 1.5km swim, 30km mountain bike and 10km trail run will win the race, but whoever has the most points overall wins the XTERRA US Pro Series Championship.

Pros count their best five finishes out of the eight regular season races plus the championship race points.
