Pro football linebacker and friend of Suunto, Dhani Jones, has been spotted sporting his new Suunto Elementum this past week as he prepares for the launch of the second season of Dhani Tackles the Globe on the Travel Channel. On the April 14th edition of Rome is Burning on ESPN, while wearing his Suunto Elementum, Dhani spoke with Mike Rome about football and his TV show.Dhani Tackles the Globe follows the star linebacker as he tries his hand at beloved national pastimes from each of the countries he visits, exploring the way sports help to define culture. This season, Dhani visited Iceland for a strongman competition, Brazil to play beach volleyball, Italy for a 100-mile cycling race and most recently, Nepal, where he attempted to trek his way to Island Peak -- no doubt using his Suunto Elementum barometer, altimeter and compass.
In addition to affinity for his Suunto Elementum, Dhani trains with a Suunto t6c along with his training partner, adventure racer Marcello Duarte.
