Andy Potts Dominates in Spud Country

Suunto triathlete, Andy Potts held is own this past weekend at the Coeur d'Alene Ironman prevailing over some stiff competition. This is Potts' first triathlon outside of Hawaii, and he lived up to the pre-race hype by securing the title and podium win.
Potts, a former Olympian and ITU competitor, continued to show is transition speed after getting out of the water 30 seconds behind John Flanagan. By the time he got on his bike after the swim, he had gained back the deficit all but three seconds and pulled away from Flanagan in the beginning miles of the 112 mile bike ride.
By the end of the bike, Potts was still in the lead by more than seven minutes. Potts continued to dominate the run and finished his Ironman in 8:24:54.
A big win for Potts and Suunto is proud!
